Breachfield Road

The sloping nature of the garden meant that this client in Barrow-Upon-Soar had no real area for a table and chairs or even a space to have a walk out onto.

We came to the rescue and removed a full 40 cubic yards of mud by wheelbarrow which then allowed the construction of a large patio area from rather beautiful Indian sandstone. The ground was retained using reclaimed sleepers and, at the customer’s suggestion, rsj’s were used in a similar way to how concrete posts would be slotted into a fence.

The remainder of the garden was full of plants and shrubs which the client had inherited with the property and by removing these we were able to extend the lawn to form a lovely useable area.
